Along the edge of the continent of Africa lies Ghana: A nation welcomes you from the heart.
Ghana takes pride in being the safest country in Africa. And the Ghanaians? Some of the most remarkably peaceful and hospitable human beings on earth.
With the country’s abundance of nature in the eastern region, the largest human-made lake in the world, an energetic music scene, cultural festivities, ancient rituals, remote animals, and Ghana’s coastline spanning over 539km, this place will definitely satisfy your cravings and wanderlust.
The first step to experience Ghana is, of course, to secure your Visa. If you’re from afar, this article will tell you how to here. If you’re a local, we’ll tell where can your Ghana passport take you; including what you need to know about visa requirements. And finally, if you have a Ghana Passport, here’s a list of countries you can travel to visa-free.
Who can visit Ghana?
If you’re a national of Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, or the UK, you’ll need passports, returning tickets, and a visa to travel to Ghana.
Before booking any flights to Ghana, it is essential to get a visa first. To apply for a tourist visa almost immediately, you can contact the Ghana Immigration Service Headquarters. Or to save time & headache, just apply through ivisa.com.
You can also drop by the Ghana embassy or consulate in where you’re currently staying. This option might be the easiest way to process an application. But if you want to get a heads up to prior requirements before obtaining one, keep on reading.
