Yet, whatever your reason for visiting this magical country where the East meets the West, this visa guide will walk you step by step on how to get your Turkish Visa.

Ways To Obtain A Visa/E-Visa

Embassy or Consulate

If you are based in a certain country, check if there is any Turkish Embassy or Consulate. You can also check this Website to see if there is any Embassy or Consulate in your location.

Turkey Visa Guide

You can easily obtain an e-Visa online and pay for 20 USD fee. You can start your application for e-Visa three months before your arrival date. You should be able to receive your e-Visa right after you pay the fee. If it takes more than 48 hours, contact the website quickly. Check this Official Turkey e-Visa Portal.

Here are the requirements to obtain an e-Visa

  • Passport with at least 6 months of validity
  • Valid Schengen, Ireland, USA, and UK visa and/or permanent visa
  • Return Ticket
  • Hotel Bookings
  • Proof of financial support during your stay. At least $50 USD per day
  • Reason of visit is for tourism and business only

Be sure to book your Turkey visa before you travel. Apply here!

Print your e-Visa before you fly to Turkey. Show your e-Visa letter to the officer-in-charge, hand in your visa letter and your Passport and your hotel bookings and return ticket and. The officer-in-charge will stamp your visa on your passport.

Turkey Visa Guide

Note: The queue for passport control (visa stamp) is quite long. The time I was there, the person-in-charge didn’t ask for my hotel bookings and return ticket (both I have ready). However, I would NOT suggest you take the risk of not booking a hotel and return ticket in advance.

Hi! I want to ask gano katagal dapat mag apply ng sticker visa bago ng flight? And pano pag may maghost ako from turkey?

    • Mary Charie 11/04/2017 at 4:37 am

Hello Nicnic, it took me literally just a few minutes before I received my e-Visa. Although the official website did not have any specific “processing time” indicated, I suggest you to get this e-visa as soon as you can to avoid any hassle.

      Safe trip! x

Hello, plan ko pumunta ng turkey this yr. May uae valid residence ako and my host din ako na nasa turkey. Kumpleto ako sa requirements pwera lang sa salary pay slip, ang importante naman is yung bank statement diba po???

    • Mary Charie 11/04/2017 at 4:35 am

      Hello Nel,

I haven’t done any Turkish visa other than an e-Visa. But I’m sure that as long as you have enough fund on your bank, it should be fine. Perhaps explain why you cannot provide a pay slip record.

    • Mary Charie 01/03/2017 at 7:19 am

Hi Aliah, if you are applying from the Philippines and DON’T hold any valid visa from these countries; UK, USA, Canada, Schengen, and Ireland, – you need to apply for a visa from the Turkish Embassy in the Philippines.

  • Jhoy 28/01/2017 at 5:11 pm

Hi ms.mary charie,,ask lng po,if from kuwait to turkey para mag work ano po ang need n processing, may employer k kc aq.

    • Mary Charie 01/03/2017 at 7:21 am

      Hi Jhoy,

I’m not about this. If I’m right, you have to go back in the Philippines to apply for a working visa. Please double check this online as I have no experience with it myself.
