Best Hostels in Hanoi
In Hanoi, you mostly want to stay in the Old Quarter or not far from Hoan Kiem Lake – these two are the areas where the fun begins and also where the top places to see in Hanoi are located.

Most of their staffs are travellers themselves who are willing to share secret tips about Vietnam. Private rooms and Dorm beds are both available. Great breakfast, free beers, cosy common lounge and a great party.

Best Hostels in Phong Nha
Phong Nha is popular for its beautiful and mysterious caves. There are hostels in the main town and also home-stays that you can choose from. You can rent a motorbike from the hostels or nearby shops or you can just book a tour to explore this town.

However, take note that this hostel only accepts a minimum of 2-night stay (online booking). If you are staying for only 1 night, you can try to walk in and see if they have availability.
Best Hostels in Hue
Hue is a small town known as the start point of Hai Van Pass journey. IT is also known as the food capital of Vietnam. In the city centre, you will find most hostels are located. At night, there are parties in bars clubs, or even at the hostels that you can join. While there are also home-stays if you prefer a quite night.

Best Hostels in Hoi An
Hoi An is full of cute lanterns on its streets which charms everyone who pass by here. The Old Town is full of shops where you can get a customised dress, shoes, belt, bar, suits, swimsuits, and more for a good price compared to your home country. Hai Van Pass journey also ends here.

Why is this one of the Recommended Hostels in VietnamI didn’t stay here, however, most of the travellers I met has been here and totally loved it. Thus I think it would a great idea to suggest this place. A homestay and a hostel at the same time, quite but a cosy place nearby the beach.

Best Hostels in Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City is a very busy city of Vietnam it is also more westernised than Hanoi. There is handful of hotels to choose from here either a party hostel or a place where ou can relax. The backpacker’s or party street is called Bui Vien while the walking street is called Pham Ngu Lao. These two streets are very busy can loud at night. If you want a quite place to stay, look somewhere that is not on these two streets.
Long Hostel

Why is it one of the best hostels in VietnamFor the chill side, you may want to stay in Long hostel. Close enough to the backpacker’s street and must-sees but quite enough almost at anytime of the day. They also provide free breakfast and give free beer to their guest. The common areas are well-looked after and very clean.

Why is it one of the best hostels in VietnamFlipside hostel in HCMC is a newly built hostel, they have the first one located in Hanoi. This hostel is a perfect for party backpackers. They also have a roof on their top floor, party every night, and a bar that offers drinks and food. Flipside hostel take their guests to pub crawl visiting numerous bars and clubs in the city.
