Croatia is located in the south-east region of Europe and in the past 25 years has become one of the top tourist destinations worldwide. 6. Zagreb
Maybe you’re not really all for those beach holiday spots, so Zagreb would be the pick for you. Being the capital, its got many modern attractions in the Lower Town, while the Upper town is the historic centre.
The symbols of Zagreb are the Ban Jelačić Square, the Stone Gate, the Dolac Market, and others. In the proximity are also the Plitvice Lakes, which should definitely be on your to-do list!
