2. Visit El Yunque National Rainforest

On the outside of the major cities and towns, a great adventure to enjoy would be to visit El Yunque National Rainforest. El Yunque is one of the many forests that can be found on the island. What makes this park unique is the amazing trails and hiking spots it has.

4. Rent A Luxury Home In Any Spot

Not so much an activity exactly but, one must-do item in Puerto Rico is to rent a luxury home in any spot. Puerto Rico luxury vacation rentals offer incredible views and experiences from just about any location.

As somewhat a cross between a small forest and a beach, the Cayo Santiago island offers the most unique experience in Puerto Rico by far. Known as Monkey Island, it is home to a variety of different monkeys and species of animals.

Not only will you be able to get up close and personal with some of the trained monkeys the island has but, you get to enjoy it with an amazing coastal view.

7. Try The Local Food Stands

We can’t talk about Puerto Rico without talking about the Puerto Rican cuisine. For many people, Puerto Rico is visited mainly because of the local cuisine than beautiful views. The food truck scene on the island is known for having more delicious food than some of the high-end restaurants.

Some people say that the more locally specific a truck is situated, the better the food will be. As far as some of the foods they have to serve, this includes everything from empanadillas, pollo guisado, and mofongo.
