Hello Brenda,

The conditions are referring to the ability to pay the visa fee, having the proof of exit flight ticket, booked accommodations and tours, which will determine how many days the immigration officer will allow you to stay in Jordan. The tour company should be able to help you with the “conditions” and documents to prepare.

Hi Mary, thank you for this very extensive list. I will be travelling to Jordan in April 2020. The tour company is supplying us with our Visas on Arrival (upon arrival in Amman, before we reach passport control, a local tour company representative will provide us with a one-page letter (Visa Manifest)). I notice above that you’ve listed this for Jordan: visa on arrival, conditions apply.

Can you elaborate on the conditions that apply, I’ve seen this listed this way on several other sites, but I’m having difficult finding out what the “conditions” are that apply, and I don’t want to arrive in Jordan to find out I’m missing something and can’t get in!

Do you also happen to have an article for the UK passports and which countries they can go without a visa? In a few weeks you can add Brazil to the list of visa free countries. 3 Weeks before I leave to Brazil and they change it, what luck!

Hi Hassan,

I think you are talking about ETIAS, I just wrote about it: https://amaryroad.com/everything-about-etias-cost-validity-requirements/

Canadians are still visa-free but you need to apply for ETIAS and pay for it (7 euro) which is valid for a few years. It’s like the ETAS or ETA of US and Australia. It’s not a visa, it’s a travel authority permit.

It is no longer a free entry to Schengen Area. Canadians need to fill in a sort of form upon entry.
The BBC Business site mentioned that the above will apply as of 2021. The fact is that it is being applied now.
Can you verify.

Thanks for the valuable information. I read the Turkey part on your blog and compared it with the following;

Canadian travelers are no longer able to get a visa on arrival at airports in Turkey. It’s mandatory to get your e-visa before your arrival.

I am not sure if the provided information is correct or not but if so, it is worth mentioning on your blog.
