However, I remember writing a cover letter which I sent together with my application (via VFS in Hanoi). I can’t remember if I mentioned my full-time travel life, but I can remember that I explained why I wanted to go to Denmark.

I applied through Norway/Denmark embassy. I did not include any bank statement on my application requirements because it doesn’t say im required to provide one if its the relative inviting me that will shoulder my expenses so it was my aunt who provided a bank statement.
I have another question, is it true that I can apply for a Schengen visa to any country that is included in the Schengen area even if I am going to Sweden?

Hi Jelsy, are you going to apply from the Philippines or Australia? MAke sure that you have the right documents; travel insurance, work certificate, your bank statement.

Thanks for this. Where did you apply? If from the Philippines, make sure you have submitted a document proving that you have a job in the Philippines and a bank statement that shows you can support yourself during your travels. Even you have a host, most Embassies are strict, the applicant should be able to prove his/her financial capability to travel.

im anne, I have an aunt who is already residing in Sweden and is married to a Swedish. they sent me the invitation and I applied for a Schengen tourist visa but it was still denied. what would be the best option/steps to do so I can get approved for a Schengen visa? I would really love to visit her in Sweden and my aunt and uncle is very much capable of hosting my stay.
